Brighton has always had a complicated relationship with the sea.

It attracts tourists, partygoers, wild swimmers, fishermen, rough sleepers, thrill seekers, and those looking for solitude. It is a place of celebration and, occasionally, tragedy.

Every autumn and winter the death toll spells doom for many families, informed of the tragic news of their loved ones, declared dead after having been caught in the dangerous waves off the Brighton coast.

But in recent weeks, as spring turns into summer, a disturbing question has begun circulating across social media, pubs, YouTube channels, and local communities:

Why have so many bodies been recovered from Brighton’s coastline in such a short period of time?

The question gained momentum following the deaths of three sisters whose bodies were recovered from the sea near Madeira Drive in May. The women were later identified as Jane Adetoro, Christina Walters, and Rebecca Walters.

An inquest has since heard that the cause of death remains unascertained. Police have stated there is currently no evidence of foul play or third-party involvement. Yet many questions remain unanswered.

The obvious question being; If they were pulled dead from the sea, what other reason would there be for their deaths, OTHER than drowning?

Adding to public unease, additional bodies have since been recovered from the coastline, including a middle-aged man near Sea Lanes and another man discovered near Rottingdean.

The result is a growing atmosphere of mystery.

The Official Explanation.

The most likely explanation is also the least dramatic. Brighton’s coastline can be dangerous.

The sea conditions can change rapidly. Hidden shingle shelves create sudden drop-offs. Strong currents can catch even confident swimmers off guard. Darkness, alcohol, fatigue, poor weather, and mental health crises all increase the risks.

Statistically, coastal deaths tend to cluster. When several incidents occur close together in time, people naturally look for a connection even when none exists.

Investigators currently appear to believe the deaths are unrelated events. If this proves correct, the mystery may ultimately turn out to be a tragic coincidence.

The Unanswered Questions.

Yet some aspects of the sisters’ case continue to generate discussion.

• Why were they in Brighton?

• Why hasn’t any CCTV been released of them in Brighton?

• How did all three enter the water?

• Why is the medical cause of death still not confirmed?

• What happened in the hours before their deaths?

• Were there witnesses who have not yet come forward?

• And perhaps most importantly: what chain of events would lead three adult sisters to perish together?

The absence of clear answers creates a vacuum that speculation naturally rushes to fill.

Theory One: A Shared Accident.

This is currently the most straightforward explanation. One sister enters difficulty in the water. A second attempts a rescue. A third follows.

The sea is merciless and multiple fatalities occur within minutes.

This type of tragedy has happened before around the world, (but rarely along the Brighton coast in spring.)

It requires no criminal conspiracy, no mystery organisation, and no cover-up. Just bad luck and terrible circumstances.

It reminds me of the Camber Sands tragedy in 2016, where 5 healthy young men were said to have died due to the powerful rip tides.

But then again, when during the hundreds of years, of families by their thousands frolicking in the sea of Camber Sands, has anyone else ever been killed by a rip tide?

Theory Two: A Mental Health Tragedy.

Some observers have pointed to reports that the sisters never fully recovered from the trauma of losing their mother years earlier.

• Could the deaths have involved a collective mental health crisis?

• Could they have entered the water intentionally?

There is currently no public evidence supporting this theory.

However, until investigators establish exactly what happened, it remains one possibility among many.

Theory Three: An Unknown Medical Event.

• Could there have been a toxicological factor?

• Contaminated substances?

• Undetected medical conditions?

• Environmental factors?

The fact that the cause of death remains unascertained has encouraged some observers to consider possibilities beyond simple drowning.

Medical investigations are reportedly continuing.

Theory Four: Criminal Involvement.

Police say they have found no evidence of third-party involvement. Nevertheless, whenever multiple unexplained deaths occur, some people inevitably ask whether someone else was involved.

• Could there have been an encounter with an unknown individual?

• Could evidence have been missed?

• Could the deaths have been staged to appear accidental?

At present there is no public evidence supporting these suggestions. But historically, some criminal cases have initially appeared accidental before later discoveries changed the picture.

Theory Five: A Serial Predator.

This is where speculation begins to move into genuinely unlikely territory.

The appearance of multiple bodies within a relatively short period naturally leads some people to wonder whether a serial offender could be operating along the coast.

There is currently no evidence whatsoever to support this idea.

The victims appear to have very different backgrounds and circumstances, but still, the theory persists because humans are pattern-seeking creatures. When deaths occur close together geographically, our brains instinctively search for a single cause.

Theory Six: Organised Crime.

Brighton has long attracted urban legends involving drugs, trafficking, and organised criminal networks.

The famed crime writer of the Roy Grace series Peter James, once claimed that Brighton is the preferred choice of Crime Lords to raise their families.

• Could some deaths be linked to criminal activity?

• Could bodies have been disposed of at sea?

• Could unrelated investigations intersect with coastal recoveries?

Again, there is no evidence publicly available suggesting this.

Yet because organised crime does exist, the theory remains a favourite among internet investigators.

Theory Seven: A Cover-Up.

Every unexplained death eventually attracts claims of a cover-up. Perhaps authorities know more than they are saying. Perhaps CCTV exists but has not been released. Perhaps witnesses have been silenced. Perhaps embarrassing failures are being hidden.

The difficulty with cover-up theories is that they can explain almost anything while proving almost nothing.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

At present, no such evidence has emerged.

Theory Eight: The Darkest Possibility.

The worst-case scenario is not necessarily the most likely. The worst-case scenario would be that several apparently unrelated deaths are actually connected. That investigators have not yet recognised the link, or if they have, they aren’t telling the public. That a dangerous individual, group, or circumstance remains active.

History contains examples where clusters of deaths initially appeared accidental before later revelations exposed a darker truth. But history also contains countless examples where coincidence turned out to be exactly that: coincidence.

The Real Mystery.

The real mystery may not be whether there is a conspiracy. It may be why so little is currently known.

In an age of smartphones, CCTV cameras, social media, facial recognition, and digital footprints, modern mysteries feel increasingly rare.

When a major gap appears in the public record, people notice. And when people notice, theories emerge. Some reasonable. Some outrageous. Some bordering on science fiction.

Until investigators complete their work, nobody outside the inquiry truly knows what happened along Brighton’s shoreline.

What is certain is that families have lost loved ones, questions remain unanswered, and the sea continues to keep some of its secrets.

For now, Brighton’s coastline remains the scene of a mystery that has captured national attention—and one that may eventually prove either remarkably ordinary or deeply unsettling.

The final days of the record-breaking 2026 spring climbing season on Mount Everest were cloaked in a familiar, somber dread. On May 29, as the busiest season in history drew to a close, Hillary Dawa Sherpa—a seasoned 52-year-old high-altitude guide from Okhaldhunga—vanished into the notorious “Death Zone.”

For nearly a week, as the mountain emptied and vital infrastructure was dismantled, the mountaineering world prepared for the worst. Bureaucratic gridlock delayed initial rescue efforts, and by June 3, an extensive high-altitude helicopter search yielded absolutely nothing. No trace. No clues. No hope.

Then, the impossible happened.

On the morning of June 4, a garbage management crew from the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC) working near the base of the mountain spotted a figure. It was Hillary Dawa. Against all known laws of high-altitude survival, he was alive—sliding, stumbling, and crawling his way through the treacherous, shifting maze of the Khumbu Icefall under his own power.

Left Behind in the Death Zone.

The nightmare began on May 29 during a frantic, late-season race to descend the peak before the SPCC began dismantling the ladders and ropes through the Khumbu Icefall. Dawa was working for Himalayan Traverse Adventure, assisting a British climber and YouTuber, Chris Thrall, alongside a Polish mountaineer.

Exhausted and heavily laden with gear, Dawa paused to rest near the Yellow Band—a prominent rock feature at 24,600 feet.

“He sat down for a rest with his backpack,” Thrall later recounted. “I turned to him and said, ‘Hillary, are you OK brother?’ He said, ‘Yes, yes, I’m fine, Chris. Please go.’”

What followed was a series of agonising, split-second decisions. Lower down the Lhotse Face, the Polish climber ran out of oxygen and began suffering from severe frostbite. Trapped between climbing back up to check on Dawa with a half-empty oxygen tank or guiding the freezing Polish climber to safety, Thrall chose to descend. They reached the safety of Camp II, exhausted and depleted. Dawa never arrived. From below, Thrall caught a final glimpse of a distant headlamp high on the slopes going dark.

Six Days of Silence and Finger-Pointing.

As the days ticked by, a grim reality set in. Dawa’s disappearance quickly ignited a storm of controversy, exposing the fractured, often negligent underbelly of commercial Everest expeditions.

Because Himalayan Traverse had processed its climbing permits through a larger agency, 8K Expeditions, a bureaucratic dispute arose over who was responsible for financing and initiating a rescue. Valuable days were lost. By the time 8K Expeditions deployed a search helicopter on June 3 at the desperate request of Dawa’s family, the mountain was silent. The aerial team flew as high as 7,300 meters (Camp III), scouring the routes twice. They returned with devastating news: there was no sign of life.

In Kathmandu and online, anger mounted. Dawa’s family openly blamed sheer negligence by the expedition agency. For six nights, a husband and father remained unaccounted for, entirely alone in sub-zero temperatures, without supplemental oxygen, shelter, or a known food source.

The Astonishing Escape.

How Hillary Dawa survived six days in the extreme elements remains an absolute mystery that doctors and mountaineers are calling miraculous.

Somehow, over the course of a week, Dawa managed to navigate his way down the Lhotse Face and across the Western Cwm entirely unassisted. When the SPCC workers miraculously spotted him on June 4, he was wearing his summit down suit, slowly but relentlessly clawing his way out of the bottom of the Khumbu Icefall toward Base Camp.

THE TIMELINE OF A MIRACLE

• May 29: Dawa goes missing at Yellow Band

• May 30 - June 2: No rescue initiated

• June 3: Helicopter search finds no trace

• June 4: Dawa crawls out of Icefall; RESCUED!

“He was found in a condition where he was slowly sliding down through the icefall. It is in itself an astonishing incident,” said Pemba Sherpa, executive director of 8K Expeditions.

Elation and Recovery.

News of Dawa’s survival sent shockwaves of relief through the global climbing community. Chris Thrall, flying home via Delhi, expressed his immense joy on social media: “I’m elated and so happy for him and his wonderful family... Just flying home now... will write more when I land.”

Photos soon emerged from Base Camp showing a weary Dawa resting and eating, still clad in his climbing gear. While he has suffered severe frostbite on his hands and fingers and speaks very slowly, attending doctors confirmed that he is stable and out of immediate danger. He was quickly airlifted from the Everest region to a hospital in Kathmandu for specialised treatment.

While Dawa’s survival has restored immense hope, it leaves behind a sober warning. As the 2026 climbing season wraps up, the mountaineering community is facing a reckoning regarding permit-sharing practices, operator accountability, and the safety of the indispensable Sherpa guides who risk everything on the world’s highest peak.

But for today, the focus is entirely on a family reunited, a community in gratitude to the SPCC rescue crew, and the man who defied the death zone to walk off Mount Everest alive.

“Some people should have a medical before they’re allowed an internet connection.”

Now, to be fair, it’s clearly meant as a joke. Nobody seriously expects broadband providers to ask for blood pressure readings before installing fibre optic cable.

But the image it creates is hilarious.

Imagine the scene.

A nervous applicant arrives at the Department of Internet Eligibility.

“Reason for your visit?”

“I’d like to watch cat videos and argue about football.”

The official adjusts his spectacles.

“Very well. Before we can approve your Wi-Fi, we’ll need a psychiatric assessment, an IQ test, a personality profile, and a signed statement confirming you know the difference between sarcasm and reality.”

Three hours later the applicant emerges.

“Congratulations. You have passed. Here is your internet licence. Please try not to comment on YouTube after midnight.”

The Problem with the Joke.

What makes the comment funny is that it accidentally reveals a fascinating contradiction.

The internet is perhaps the one place where everyone gets a voice.

The genius. The fool. The professor. The conspiracy theorist. The man who thinks pigeons work for MI5. Everybody.

Yet every now and then someone suggests that certain people shouldn’t be allowed to participate because their opinions are too strange, too annoying, too eccentric, or simply too different.

And that’s where DJ Darkside’s joke becomes unintentionally revealing.

Because who exactly decides who passes the medical?

The government? The NHS? A panel of YouTube commenters?

That last option is particularly terrifying.

Imagine being judged by the same people who spend six hours arguing over whether a blurry photograph proves aliens built Brighton Pier.

DJ Darkside’s Internet Health Service.

Under the Darkside Administration, internet access might look something like this:

Stage One: Psychological Screening

“Have you ever believed something unusual?”

“Yes.”

“Denied.”

Stage Two: YouTube History Review.

“We see you watched videos about UFOs.”

“Yes.”

“Suspicious.”

“We also see you watched gardening videos.”

“Yes.”

“Confused individual. Further tests required.”

Stage Three: Comment Section Fitness Test.

Applicants must survive reading 500 YouTube comments without losing their temper.

Failure rate: 99.7%.

The Irony

Of course, the funniest part is that if such a system ever existed, many of the people demanding medical checks would probably find themselves standing in the same queue as everyone else.

After all, history is full of examples where one person’s “completely batshit crazy” turns out to be another person’s accepted truth a few years later.

The world is littered with ideas that sounded ridiculous right up until they didn’t.

What It Really Says.

The comment probably isn’t about medicine at all. It’s about frustration.

It’s the modern version of saying:

“I can’t believe this person thinks that.”

We’ve all said something similar at one time or another.

The difference is that DJ Darkside expressed it in the most wonderfully authoritarian way imaginable.

Not: “I disagree with them.”

Not: “I think they’re wrong.”

But: “Perhaps they should undergo a medical examination before obtaining broadband.”

That escalated quickly.

Final Diagnosis.

As comedy, it’s excellent. As public policy, perhaps less so.

Because once we start requiring medical certificates for internet access, we’re only a few steps away from requiring licences for opinions, permits for jokes, and government approval before posting memes.

And let’s be honest.

If surviving YouTube comment sections became a medical test, most of us would fail long before the people we’re complaining about. Including, quite possibly, DJ Darkside himself.

In a recent post, Danny wrote:

“Going to see a man about a dog, nice day for a walk. Got my GPS on postcode set AL8 6XB. I wonder if they are in? See you soon, we will have a good chat.”

He then published a map showing the location of a local Tesco petrol station.

On its own, some may attempt to dismiss the comment as a joke. However, context matters. When someone publicly announces that they have programmed a postcode into their GPS, wonders aloud whether the occupant is at home, and promises to “see you soon,” it is difficult to ignore the obvious implication.

The response from one of his supporters, DJ Darkside, was equally revealing:

“He’d be cowering behind that door now and jumping every time he hears a car door go for next six months now you can bet he will.”

Notice what is being celebrated here. Not debate. Not discussion. Not evidence. The aim appears to be fear itself. The desired outcome is that the target becomes anxious, nervous, and fearful every time they hear someone outside their home.

It immediately reminded me of comments made by Danny West last year.

Among them were:

“I’m coming for ya. Wait for that knock.”

And:

“Anticipation of death is worse than death itself.”

As well as:

“I have had your address for over two weeks.”

Viewed in isolation, supporters will inevitably claim these statements mean nothing. Viewed together, however, a pattern begins to emerge. The repeated references to addresses, visits, knocks on doors, and the psychological impact of anticipation all point towards a very specific form of intimidation.

The power of such statements is not necessarily in whether the individual ever intends to act upon them. The power lies in making the target wonder.

• Will he turn up?

• Is he serious?

• What did he mean by that?

• Should I be concerned?

That uncertainty is often the entire point.

Most people would regard public comments about having someone’s address, setting a GPS route to a postcode, and telling people to wait for a knock at the door as deeply inappropriate. Yet within certain online circles, this sort of behaviour is laughed at, encouraged, and even applauded.

The latest exchange serves as a reminder that intimidation is not always explicit. Sometimes it operates through implication, suggestion, and psychological pressure. The objective is not necessarily confrontation. The objective can be to make someone think confrontation is coming.

Whether this latest episode was intended as a joke, a threat, or something in between, readers can judge for themselves. What cannot be disputed is that the message received by many people would be clear enough: someone wants you to know they know where you are.

And for some individuals, that is precisely the reaction they are hoping for.

There is a peculiar phenomenon that exists within certain corners of YouTube—one that operates without names, without faces, and often without accountability. It is a subsection of users who do not simply criticise or disagree, but instead construct and cling to a narrative so extreme that it defines everything they do. In my case, that narrative is this: that I must be a paedophile.

The key word here is must. Because this is not a conclusion drawn from evidence, due process, or lived reality—it is a requirement.

There is no conviction for any sexual offence. There has been no finding of guilt in any court of law. There are no victims stepping forward with accusations of child abuse. These are not minor details; they are the very foundations upon which such a serious claim would normally stand. And yet, within this particular online ecosystem, those foundations are treated as irrelevant.

Why?

Because the label itself serves a function far greater than truth.

To accuse someone of being a paedophile is to place them beyond the boundaries of ordinary discourse. It is one of the most socially and morally damning labels that can be applied to a person. Once attached, it attempts to strip away credibility, humanity, and the right to be heard. In effect, it becomes a tool—not of justice—but of silencing.

And this is where the contradiction emerges.

If I were to remain silent, the narrative could sit unchallenged, presented as uncontested “fact.” But by defending myself—by speaking, responding, and pushing back—I disrupt that narrative. I introduce doubt into something that relies entirely on certainty. And that, it seems, is intolerable.

Because if I am not what they claim, then what does that make their actions?

If I am not a paedophile, then the sustained effort to portray me as one begins to look less like concern and more like harassment. Less like vigilance and more like obsession. The moral high ground they believe they occupy begins to erode, replaced by questions about motive, conduct, and accountability.

This is why the label must be maintained at all costs.

It justifies everything.

It justifies the comments, the videos, the accusations, and the persistence. It reframes harassment as activism. It allows individuals to see themselves not as aggressors, but as righteous actors engaged in a noble cause. The more extreme the accusation, the stronger the justification becomes—provided it is believed.

And belief, in these spaces, is often manufactured through repetition rather than evidence.

A clip taken out of context. A statement reframed. An allegation repeated enough times that it begins to feel established. Over time, the narrative feeds itself, each participant reinforcing the last, creating an echo chamber where doubt is excluded and dissent is attacked.

Within such an environment, truth becomes secondary to cohesion.

But outside of that bubble, the reality remains unchanged. Allegations are not convictions. Repetition is not proof. And narratives, no matter how widely shared, do not become true simply because they are insisted upon.

At its heart, this is not just about me. It is about a broader issue of how serious accusations can be weaponised in online spaces—how labels of the highest severity can be detached from evidence and used as tools of control, punishment, or social exclusion.

And perhaps most telling of all is this: the resistance to my defence is not a reaction to guilt, but to the threat my innocence poses to the narrative itself.

Because if I am allowed to stand, speak, and be heard as someone who is not what they claim—then the entire structure they have built begins to collapse.

And that is something they cannot abide.

Recently, I’ve been publicly accused of being a paedophile and of sexually abusing children. Let me state this clearly and without ambiguity:

These allegations are completely false. They are untrue, malicious, and have no basis in reality.

I have never abused a child. There has never been any evidence to support such claims—because no such behaviour has ever occurred.

The Problem With Reckless Accusations.

In today’s online world, words carry weight. Accusing someone of child abuse is not “calling something out.” It is one of the most serious allegations that can be made against any person.

When such claims are made without evidence, they don’t protect anyone—they do the opposite:

• They dilute the seriousness of real abuse cases

• They weaponise public perception

• They risk causing irreversible harm to innocent people

Throwing around labels like “paedophile” without proof is not activism. It is defamation.

The Double Standard.

There is a growing trend where individuals justify extreme accusations under the banner of “speaking truth” or “protecting others.”

But truth requires evidence. And responsibility means understanding the consequences of what you say.

It is deeply contradictory to complain about being labelled negatively, while simultaneously making the most serious accusations possible against others without substantiation.

Standing Firm in Reality.

I will not accept false narratives being presented as fact.

I will not allow serious allegations to go unchallenged. And I will continue to assert the truth:

• I am not a paedophile

• I have never sexually abused a child

• These claims are false and malicious

A Line That Should Not Be Crossed.

Disagreements, criticism, even heated arguments—these are part of public discourse. But falsely accusing someone of child abuse is not debate. It is a line that should never be crossed.

The internet should not be a place where reputations are destroyed by unverified claims and repeated lies.

Final Thought.

If we are serious about protecting real victims, then truth must matter.

Evidence must matter. And accountability must matter—on all sides.

That framing is manipulative: it implies power over others’ fates, and it sets up a false moral contrast between himself (“merciful”) and unnamed “hunters” (presumably those he accuses of being more aggressive or vindictive).

In the context of child protection, this kind of language is unusual—genuine activists typically don’t speak in hypotheticals about ruining lives, nor do they frame their inaction as a virtue when a real child might be at risk.

Second, he allowed a genuine groomer to go free while reporting myself, (Matt Taylor) to social services on false grounds that I’m sexually abusing my children.

James Hind directly contradicts his claimed role as a champion against child abuse.

We live in an era of hyperbole, where social media rewards the most shocking take. But every so often, a statement cuts through the noise—not because it is clever, but because it is uniquely unhinged in its specificity.

The quote in question reads:

“I would be authentic in that I will kill every ISIS member I come across, and that would include children or the injured, begging for mercy. ISIS will come to know my type of satanism, the power of my satanism being that I live.”

Leaving aside the geopolitical absurdity (ISIS has been territorially defeated for years), let’s examine the type of person who would voluntarily attach their name to this rhetoric. What does this statement reveal about their identity, morality, and psychological state?

1. The Performative Edgelord (Most Likely).

The primary audience for this quote is not ISIS—it is other civilians online. The speaker is engaging in virtuous violence signaling (a term coined by sociologists to describe people who prove their moral superiority by fantasizing about extreme cruelty toward a universally hated enemy).

Key traits:

• Lack of real combat experience. No one who has actually cleared a room in Fallujah or Mosul talks like a comic book villain. Real counter-terrorism operators describe killing as a grim necessity, not a satanic aesthetic.

• Desperate for authenticity. The speaker begins with “I would be authentic in that…” This is telling. They feel inauthentic in daily life—likely a boring office job or a lack of purpose—so they construct a hyper-violent alter ego to feel real.

• Misunderstands “satanism.” Actual LaVeyan Satanism is about rational egoism and indulgence, not promising to slaughter injured children. This is a Hollywood cartoon version of evil used for shock value.

2. The Moral Inversion Zealot.

This person believes they are fighting fire with hellfire. Their logic: “ISIS beheads children, therefore I am justified in beheading their children.” This is the “monster to fight monsters” archetype, popularized by Nietzsche and misunderstood by every subsequent vigilante.

Psychological drivers:

• Binary moral universe. There is no gray zone. Any child associated with ISIS (even a forced conscript or a toddler of a fighter) is irredeemably “enemy.”

• Emotionally saturated by trauma footage. They have likely consumed hours of ISIS propaganda or execution videos. Instead of developing PTSD, they’ve developed a competitive cruelty complex—a need to out-evil the evil they hate.

• The paradox of mercy. Their hatred of ISIS is so absolute that they see mercy toward an injured enemy child as betrayal. They equate compassion with weakness.

3. The Traumatised Veteran (A Sad Subset).

It would be irresponsible not to mention that some people who talk like this are suffering from unresolved moral injury. A small percentage of special operations veterans have reported fantasies of “no quarter” after losing friends to IEDs or beheadings.

However, a key distinction: a traumatised veteran saying this in a VA therapy session is different from a civilian posting it publicly. If the speaker has served, they are likely experiencing:

• Hyper-agency (the belief that only unrestrained brutality could have saved their friends).

• Emotional numbing (they can only feel alive through extreme violence fantasies—note “the power of my satanism being that I live”).

• Broken shame filters (they no longer care about social taboos regarding child-killing).

But the phrasing “my type of satanism” is theatrical. Real combat PTSD tends toward blunt statements (“I’d kill them all”), not poetic invocations of Lucifer.

4. The LARPer (Least Dangerous but Most Annoying).

Given the rise of “tactical LARPing” (airsoft warriors, prepper influencers), this could simply be a civilian with a gun collection and a God complex. They have never heard a child beg for mercy. They have never cleaned blood off their boots. The statement is fan fiction for an audience of similar fantasists.

Signs of LARP:

• They refer to “ISIS” as a monolith they will personally encounter (in reality, ISIS remnants hide in caves; they aren’t lining up to fight one edgy civilian).

• They announce their “satanism” as a brand, not a belief system.

• The phrase “the power of my satanism being that I live” is a movie trailer voiceover, not a battle plan.

Conclusion: The Unserious Extremist.

The person who makes this statement is, ironically, the opposite of authentic. Authentic violence is quiet, regretful, and utilitarian. This is performative sadism dressed as moral clarity.

They want you to see them as a necessary monster. But what they actually reveal is:

• A profound lack of actual power in their real life.

• A shallow understanding of war, ethics, and terrorism.

• A desperate need for attention from an audience that confuses cruelty with strength.

ISIS will never know their name. But their Twitter feed will remember they once tried to sound like a demon, and failed to sound like a human.

Final note: If you or someone you know expresses fantasies of killing children (even enemy children) with apparent glee, that is not patriotism or authenticity—it is a cry for psychological help. There is no glory in becoming what you claim to destroy.

I’m guilty as charged.

Not of anything particularly sinister or criminal—nothing that’ll land me in a courtroom—but of something far more socially dangerous in certain circles…

I take the piss.

Relentlessly. Naturally. Instinctively.

And here’s the thing—it’s not learned behaviour. It’s not something I picked up along the way like a bad habit you can shake off with a bit of discipline and a stern talking-to. No, this runs deeper than that. This is embedded. Hardwired. It’s in the blood, flowing through the veins like oxygen.

It’s who I am.

You know the type of moment—someone’s being overly serious, laying it on thick, maybe taking themselves just a bit too seriously. There’s a pause, a window, an opportunity…

And before I even consciously decide to act—it’s already happened.

A comment. A quip. A perfectly timed jab.

Not cruel. Not malicious. But sharp enough to pop the balloon.

Because that’s what it is, really. Balloon-popping. Deflating the unnecessary weight people carry around—the ego, the performance, the self-importance. There’s something deeply satisfying about cutting through all that with a bit of humour.

And let’s be honest—life’s heavy enough as it is.

Bills, stress, responsibilities, the endless stream of nonsense coming at us from all angles. If we can’t laugh—especially at ourselves—then what are we left with?

That’s where the piss-taking comes in.

It’s not about tearing people down. It’s about bringing things back to earth. It’s about reminding everyone (myself included) that none of us are that important, and that’s actually quite liberating.

Of course, not everyone sees it that way.

Some people don’t like it. Some don’t get it. Some take offence, read intent where there isn’t any, or assume there’s something darker behind it. But that says more about perspective than it does about the act itself.

Because for me, it’s never about harm.

It’s about energy. Connection. Timing. That shared moment where something lands just right and suddenly—everyone’s laughing. Even the person on the receiving end (eventually).

And if they’re not?

Well… you learn. You adjust. You read the room better next time.

There’s an art to it, whether people admit it or not.

A line you walk.

Push too far and it becomes something else. Stay too safe and it loses its edge. But get it right—and it’s magic. It lifts the room. Breaks tension. Turns the ordinary into something memorable.

So yes.

I’m guilty as charged.

A piss taker. A line-toer. A moment-spotter.

Just when you think the pattern couldn’t be clearer, another voice joins in—adding nothing new, yet amplifying the same empty accusation.

During a livestream hosted by Rix Mace, a familiar and reasonable question was once again put forward by Justin P (under the handle “Danny West”):

“We are waiting for your proof about John Wanoa scamming people… Just saying.”

A simple request. A fair request.

And one that still hasn’t been answered.

Enter the Echo

Instead of evidence, what arrived was reinforcement.

Tony Quigley (commenting as “Yeah OK son”) responded:

“John is clearly a scammer, he has showed himself. You are a mug and enabler.”

And there it is again—certainty without substance. No examples. No victims. No proof. Just repetition.

The Illusion of Consensus

This is how narratives are manufactured online—not through facts, but through volume.

One person makes a claim. Another repeats it. A third reinforces it. And before long, it begins to feel like “common knowledge.”

But repetition is not evidence. Agreement is not proof. And confidence is not truth.

The Missing Piece

Let’s return, once again, to the question that continues to go unanswered:

Who did John Wanoa scam?

Not opinions. Not interpretations. Not insults.

Evidence. Names. Details.

Because without those, the accusation collapses under its own weight.

Distance and Certainty

What makes this even more telling is the distance between the accuser and the accused.

By your account, Tony Quigley has never met John Wanoa. No direct dealings. No firsthand experience.

Yet the certainty remains absolute.

That’s not insight—that’s assumption. And assumption, when presented as fact, becomes misinformation.

A Familiar Pattern

What we’re seeing is not unique—it’s part of a broader behavioural pattern often found in online spaces:

• Strong accusations made with no evidence

• Group reinforcement without independent verification

• Personal attacks used to silence reasonable questions

• A refusal—or inability—to substantiate claims when challenged

It’s not about truth. It’s about momentum.

The Reality

At this moment:

• There is no presented evidence of a scam

• There are no identifiable victims

• There are no substantiated claims

What does exist is a growing chain of accusations built entirely on assertion.

That doesn’t establish guilt. It highlights a problem.

Final Thought

If someone is truly a scammer, the proof should be easy to present.

If multiple people are making the claim, the evidence should be overwhelming.

And yet, when asked directly… There is only silence. Or worse—more noise.

Until that changes, the label “scammer” says far more about those using it than the man they are aiming it at.
